Troubleshooting problems installing, updating, or deleting Kiosk Pro

The following are some general things to try if you experience any of these issues:

  1. Make sure you're logged into the device with your correct Apple ID (the ID that was used to purchase/download the app).
  2. Try turning your device off and on again, then try again.
  3. Perform a hard reset by holding the Home and Power buttons down for a few seconds until the screen turns off, then turn the device back on and try again.
  4. Try deleting the app and downloading it again. Note: Apple keeps track of apps you've already purchased, so you will not need to purchase them again if you delete the app.

Install Hangs

If Kiosk Pro appears to get stuck during the install (see image below), these are some things to check for:

  1. Make sure you're connected to the internet if you're downloading the app from the App Store.
  2. Tap on the app icon. You might have accidentally tapped it while it was downloading, which pauses the install. Even if you didn't, sometimes tapping it will help push a frozen install to try installing again.
  3. Turn your device off and on again.
  4. Perform a hard reset by holding the Home and Power buttons down for a few seconds until the screen turns off, then turn the device back on and try again.
  5. Try to delete the app and reinstall it.
  6. Download another app. Sometimes starting another download will help finish one that is stuck.
  7. Sign out of iTunes, perform a hard reset, and sign back in. This should terminate pending downloads, allowing you to try again.
  8. Sync with iTunes. Sometimes syncing will either start a stuck app or terminate it so you can try again.
